Wollomi Wild is a family farm in Colo, nestled at the base of the Blue Mountains and the home and livelihood of three Generations of the Ward family.
University of Wollongong Journalism student EMILY WARD went home for a weekend and quizzed her family on the anxieties of being small farm owners.
Teenagers Patrick and Grace, who work the farm on weekends, father and business owner Peter and allegedly retired Grandfather Mervyn all spoke about the conflicts of the hard, financially insecure life but the loyalty they feel to their history and their land.
